Pyotr Mussuri (Moussouris) was a Greek citizen born in Baku and lived in Moscow. He worked as a free-lance journalist for the Russian chess magazine "64". He covered the
famous 1936 Nottingham tournament for the magazine. In 1937 during the
Great Purge he was wrongfully accused and executed.
